Hopefully those of you reading this blog will find it sometimes interesting and sometimes humorous, but not too often a complete waste of time.

As for Junot Diaz - he might just be my favorite writer at the moment. Oscar Wao was the most inspiring book I've read in years and I should probably have blogged about it as emotional reading. It wasn't just emotional, it completely blew my mind - so funny, thoughful, educational (never heard of El Jefe before), and so intruiging. I'll definitely try to make his reading although if it's free it might be jam packed two hours before starting - I think he's developed quite a following
AGE: 33 -- OCCUPATION: Mom & full-time student -- FAVORITE AUTHORS: Jeffrey Eugenides, Dorothy Parker, Janet Evanovich, Jeffrey Deaver, Lee Child, David Sedaris, Daniel Pinkwater -- FAVORITE MOVIES: Serendipity, My Cousin Vinny, Under the Tuscan Sun, the original Guess Who's Coming for Dinner?, The Shining -- MUSICAL TASTES: My musical tastes are pretty ecclectic, but I love anything by Led Zepplin, Frank Sinatra, John Coltraine, Allison Kraus, and Coldplay.
